Rogue One, the Page of Swords (Reversed), and the Sun

Do you remember the final scene of Rogue One?
Two people, arms wrapped around each other, watching a massive wave of fire approach as the planet collapses...knowing the destruction is inevitable, but also knowing they’ve already done what mattered most. The message made it out. The future still exists.
Watching that scene can stir anxiety, grief, and deep empathy. It can feel uncomfortably familiar.
Many of us are sensing that the world as we’ve known it isn’t working anymore. Systems are strained. Narratives are unraveling. And our minds are struggling to make sense of what comes next.
This is Page of Swords (reversed) energy.

It’s the feeling of having too many thoughts, too much information, and no clear map forward. Logic alone isn’t enough. The future we were taught to expect no longer fits, and that disorientation can be frightening.
I recently pulled this card, asking what people are facing right now, and I felt it immediately. Many of us are thinking deeply, questioning everything, and yet feeling frozen inside our own minds.
But here’s the crucial part:
We are not at the end scene yet.
This is where The Sun comes in.

The Sun doesn’t deny what’s breaking down. It restores vitality, clarity, and joy so we can respond creatively instead of collapsing inward. Joy isn’t a distraction...it’s how we stay alive enough to imagine and build what comes next.
We don’t get through times like these by going silent or staying stuck in fearful, tangled thoughts. We move through them by grounding where we are, naming what matters, and reconnecting with what brings us genuine joy and purpose.
That joy becomes fuel. That clarity becomes direction. That aliveness becomes the foundation of a new world.
We don’t have to have it all figured out. We just have to stay present, stay human, and stay connected.
And we don’t have to do it alone.
Take a few minutes today and ask yourself:
What brings me genuine joy right now...not someday, not “after,” but here and now?
Perhaps it’s something from childhood or adolescence, or something you’ve always wanted to try but held back. Maybe it’s something you want to stay rooted in as we begin to build something greater.
Before moving on with your day, place a hand on your chest, take one slow breath, and notice one thing that feels steady or alive in you right now.
That’s where rebuilding begins.
With Love,
Mary
